About Us
D&G was founded in 1975 by George Jackson one of the original fertilizing professionals in Michigan. George started his business with a background in landscaping and realized their was a need for more specialized lawn care in the area. The first customer base was in Livonia then reached out from there. George continued to grow his business for 20 years then his two sons came into the picture George Jr. and Jim.
George Jr. currently runs the eastern half of the territory with great knowledge of local biology, and has great customer care skills. Jim runs the western half, he manages all the routing for 10 trucks that service the entire area and works the larger lots with ride-on machines in South Lyon. D&G has always been a family operated business and will continue to focus on customer service and community awareness.
